Owners and managers of buildings that have brick and concrete porches are now finding they need to make large investments in repair and replacement. These structures are subject to very severe environments due to salt application, abrasion, and encroachment of plants and fill. Many were not designed with proper concrete quality, foundation durability, or sufficient drainage to last the life of the building they service.
